Text Santa to benefit Hospices PDF Print E-mail

Help the Hospices is one of the causes which will benefit from ITV’s new flagship Christmas charity appeal show and this will be shared among hospices including The J's.

Text Santa hit the screen on Sunday and will have its finale on Christmas Eve.

It will culminate in two entertainment spectaculars featuring major names from TV, music and show business, while giving viewers the chance to donate to the good causes at the same time.

As the charity for hospice care, representing and supporting more than 200 hospices around the UK, Help the Hospices was selected as one of six causes to benefit from the appeal.

Ant and Dec, Phillip Schofield, Christine Bleakley and Holly Willoughby are hosting the festive shows and will also be joined by other household ITV names.

Alongside Help the Hospices, the chosen charities for Text Santa are: Carers UK; Crisis; Samaritans; WRVS; and children’s hospital charities, such as Great Ormond Street Hospital Children’s Charity; Noah’s Ark Appeal, Helping Hand, and Yorkhill Children’s Foundation.
