Floristry students from Writtle College gave their support to The J’s Hospice by producing seven beautiful blue bouquets to be auctioned off on J’s Day.
All the students gave up their own time to come into the college to work on the bouquets and flowers were sourced from local florists who generously donated the beautiful range of blooms. The students are Sharon Wise, Kim Lidlow, Viv Bailey, Anne Edes, Karen Furze, Deborah Southon and Lea Burns. They are currently studying the City & Guilds Level 2 Diploma in floristry course, some are year 2 students and some are 1st year students. A big thank you also goes to Jan Metcalf who is the Course Tutor and came up with the idea of supporting The J’s Hospice on J’s Day in this unique way. J's Day was a great success raising just over £10,000 for The J's!
