Nicola Whiffin (centre) completed the Run to the Beat half marathon in 2hours 6 minutes 37seconds – a fantastic achievement!

Run to the Beat is a half marathon with a difference; live music is played around the course to give the event a carnival atmosphere. The course starts and finishes at the O2 Arena and takes the runners around Greenwich.

With music stations along the way, this is a great event for both runners and music lovers. Nicola who took on the 13.1 mile challenge to raise money for The J’s Hospice said "I completed the 13.1miles in 2hrs 6mins 37secs which I am very proud of. I have raised over £600 in sponsorship. The whole day was brilliant with such a good atmosphere.”
