"Welcoming, interesting and worthwhile. What a wonderful organisation to be involved with"  Jane Kingham.

"Fulfilment, sense of achievement, purposeful, no two days are the same. Exciting, fun, plus building friendships. Knowing the little I do will benefit all the young people the J's will care for."  Lyn Bracci

The J's Hospice depends on a dedicated team of volunteers who work across all areas of the charity. We welcome volunteers from many different backgrounds, age groups and with varying skills. Together, staff and volunteers help to meet the needs of young adults with life limiting conditions and their carers. This would not be possible without the contribution of our volunteers.

The hours you will be asked to work will depend on the department in which you volunteer, these can be variable or fixed times. We particularly need volunteers for events. We would also love people to start up their own community groups. So whether you're looking for a challenge, stimulation or fun, to develop new friendships, acquire new skills or put your existing interests to good use, volunteering could be the answer!
