Have you ever wanted to take part in an Olympic or Paralympic Sport? Now is your chance! This is an opportunity to challenge yourself, raise money for The J’s Hospice and take part in the legacy of the Olympic and Paralympic games in London 2012. You may have taken part in charity cycle rides or treks before but this is a unique new charity challenge in partnership with the British Olympic Association. The J’s Hospice is the only Essex charity taking part in The Gold Challenge.
You can register you place on the Gold Challenge website or find out more here. |

There are loads of fun ways you can fundraise for the J's. We've listed a few of our favourite ideas below:
Morning tea with friends Invite your friends round for a cuppa and a few biscuits and ask them to pay what they would if they were in a coffee shop, all proceeds then go to the J's.
Recycle your cartridges Contact us or drop into the office for an envelope.
Recycle your jewellery Contact us or drop into the office for an envelope. |

We're looking to develop our groups around Essex. They're people like you who come up with ideas to raise money. It could be a coffee morning in the home, a race night, quiz or dance. Your local group can help you to organise and run the event. Please get in touch if you want to get involved or would like to run a group.
